Hello World, Greetings Earthlings, Merry Meet and Hi

So here I sit, created this blog page and now I don't know where to start.  How do I put to words what is going on in my brain pan?  Do I just blather on incoherently about what I am thinking about? Maybe I should put my thoughts out there about why the world is the way it is from my point of view, but then again, where do I start?

Let's start with why I want to write about Unearthed Arcana.   Well let's define that first.

Unearthed - Uncovered, discovered or brought to light.
Arcana - Secrets or mysteries.

So basically this blog is about mysteries and secrets brought to light for you and I to discover.  I know, some of  you are thinking this crackpot is going to go on about ancient aliens and government conspiracies.  Well I might touch on those topics, but not today and not unless it relates to what I have discovered.  No, in this blog we will uncover the secrets and mysteries of reality as we know it, or the illusion thereof.  Do ghosts exist? Is Reiki real? Do shamans actually heal? Is magick real? And so forth.

We will touch on the occult, witchcraft, shamanism, and various other things that most of today's society would call weird and for the crazy cat ladies and basement dwelling neck beards on the fringes of the normal day to day.

Hopefully some of you who read blog will post questions and comments that can further aid in everyone's learning and understanding of the things we find hard to prove or disprove scientifically.

So on that note, I leave you with this to ponder:

Put yourself in the year 1700, there is the great northern war going on between the Swedish and Russian Empires.  Muskets are the advanced weapons of the day.  There are no radios or televisons, no internet or anything we take for granted today.  These people have no idea that radio waves exist.  They barely know about electricity and have not yet harnessed it.  So ask yourself this:  To the average Joe (you) going about his day to day business there are no mysterious waves of energy passing through him and his surroundings.  Yet today, we know that there are in fact all kinds of energy waves passing through.  Xrays, microwaves, radiowaves etc.  The people of 1700 have no way to detect them, but they exist.  Fast forward to your life today and ask yourself about ghosts and spirit energy.  Ask yourself about energy forces such as chi or reiki energy.  Or what about what Einstein called "spooky action at a distance"  We have no current technology to detect these things, but does that mean they don't exist?

Open your mind to the possibility that there are strange undetectable forces out there and suddenly a whole lot of different things become possible.  This is the arcana we will explore in this blog.
